Tascam M-3500 series

tascam34b-m3500.jpg When you buy a used mixing console, chances are, it's going to need a good cleaning at the least. All kinds of stuff may have found its way into the housing, maybe some liquid got spilled over the console, you never know. On the following pages I try to make sure, the old mixer is cleaned up and parts which are prone to go bad over the years (drifting resistors, dryed up electrolytics) are going to be replaced.

The console is sitting on flanges reinforced by panels in the back, the mixer itself and the shelf on top of the meter bridge. I've drawn up a simple sketchup of the setup.
